About this rug

This handmade, one-of-a-kind Summak rug from Afghanistan measures 6'4" x 6'7". It is Semi-Antique, square in shape, and a dark overall tone. It features tribal drawing, an all-over pattern, geometric drawing, and a traditional design. The palette leans on reds & burgundies, greens, and blues, with many colors present throughout the rug. It is a flatweave, with color carried in the weave itself rather than a cut pile. It is tribal in drawing, with a sturdy handmade character. Sold as photographed from our Atlanta showroom.
